Marcelo Pelleriti

Marcelo Pelleriti is a leader in oenology in Argentina and a veritable pioneer amongst winemakers in South Mendoza’s Uco Valley. For the last 22 years he has overseen harvests in Bordeaux at Chateau La Violette and Chateau Le Gay. Every September and October Marcelo heads to France after having managed the harvest in Argentina. As a result, Marcelo has become the first Argentine winemaker to obtain a 100 point rating from Robert Parker’s magazine for a French wine as he did for this Chateau La Violette 2010 . His 2010 Chateau Legay was awarded 99 points.
