Wines of Ukraine

Although Ukraine might not be the first country that comes to mind in wine discussions, viticulture and winemaking have long been integral to our national culture.

Ukraine boasts a variety of terroirs, extending from the south to the north and from the east to the west, catering to every imaginable wine style.

A significant trend in contemporary Ukrainian winemaking history is the emphasis on quality rather than quantity. Additionally, there has been a surge in the production of craft wines and the extension of vineyards into non-tradi- tional (cooler) viticulture areas.
